Hope Delayed is NOT Hope destroyed

I was song surfing and found this from days past, but the message is timeless, unlike so much else in the Christian Pop music culture.

It speaks to me of the truth that my Savior has set aside a place for me that I will someday see, and which can in no way be taken from me. It is in this that I place my hope and it is this hope that however much delayed can never, never be destroyed, for I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus my Lord.

I agree about hope.
The video is embedded a little too big. You can go back to the video and choose a smaller size to fit within the margins of your blog. Just sayin.

Really good music...I use to baby sit Sandy. I am proud of her and the work God has done in her life is amazing............J

My Prayer List...

The following are people who have requested prayer, or those making a special request for prayer. I am listing initials or first names only, unless granted additional permission, and unless specifically requested, I am not posting details.

For this part of my blog, I will take requests and post as much information or as little, as you request.

MIRACLES FIRST--- Bobby was on the list for almost two months with non-hodgkins lympnoma, THEN the doctors told him he was clear of the disease, and that they had no explanation for the spontaneous remission. But Bobby and Jason KNOW WHO the explanation is -- Miracles still happen when God's people pray. PRAISE GOD.

Me --
-- (I need a job very soon;) Answered today, I started working full time, temporary for my former employer, doing substantially the same job
-- Adullam Church (adullamchurch.com) is up and running, but it is a lot of work and a labor of love.

MY father has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor where the esophagus and the stomach come together. It does not look good, but he is in good spirits, better than can be expected for someone who is 82 years old and has spent 20+ years going through the ringer. Dad showed me what a father was, and made it easy for me to see God as my heavenly Father...I only hope I can return the favor someday soon. UPDATING--Yesterday (12/4) they scheduled him for radiation treatments beginning this coming week and running through the holidays and into January. SO pray that the treatments are successful and that his strength will be increased so he is able to complete the course of treatment

My former church, Cornerstone Fellowship in Tucson, is an awesome place to worship, with a real desire to serve God, so pray for them that God will answer their prayers in a glorious way (even though most of us are not sure what that means)

My new church, Adullam Church, also in Tucson, (adullamchurch.com), will hopefully be even better, at least I pray that God will show me how to make it so.

Also pray for the following people:
KJ // LB // EC // KW // PBG Ministries--Gods blessing, promotion and guidance // My new friend Allyson Robinson, as she follows God's calling on heengr life.//Chris in Phoenix is in a challenging church situation and needs prayer to endure it.//
Tonight we are adding:
(1) Lorie D's mom, who fell recently injuring her arm and will need shoulder surgery. We also need to pray that she is at peace, and that any complications are bound from occurring.
(2) We also need to pray for Lorie, who is now working at her job, parenting and functioning as primary care giver & case manager to her mother...50 miles from the necessary care facilities. If anyone needs the peace of God, wisdom and endurance, it is Lorie.
(3) And finally, Pastor Paul Chambliss, dropped a piece of furniture on his hand today a and the bleeding would not stop. Lets pray that by the time he is seen in the ER, he is well on his way to recovery and healing.
